The City of Titusville, PA has been awarded the opportunity for placemaking services through the Rural Rocks contest sponsored by the Northwestern Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
WHAT IS PLACEMAKING?
Creative Placemaking is a people-centered approach to building strong, vibrant communities. It helps communities achieve economic development and population growth through cultural and entrepreneurial amenities, concepts, and catalytic projects.
What Kind of Work will Atlas be doing?
Titusville, PA is a city on the rise. Working alongside local and regional leaders including Titusville Renaissance, Inc., a volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization committed to the enhancement of the greater Titusville community, Atlas Community Studios will help define a new vision for the city using a people-centered approach to community development.
As a result of our four-step process, Atlas Community Studios will help Titusville, PA with:
- Downtown Revitalization: Creating a catalytic project
- Housing Action Plan
- Public Art
- Branding + Marketing
